Areas of Care

What Dr. Watts treats.

Dr. Watts' background and training mean she is comfortable with most of what she sees. In the rare instance a need falls outside the scope of her practice, she is well-connected and glad to guide someone toward the right care.

Dr. Watts practices general adult psychiatry, open to all adults — thorough diagnosis, psychotherapy, and medication management for depression, anxiety, ADHD and executive functioning, grief, substance use, and relationship issues, along with the transitions and stressors of adult life — starting school, a career, or a family, the strain that can surface when any of them is tested, and the shifts in role and identity that follow. Throughout, she cares for each person within the relationships and family systems that shape a life.

Within that general practice, she holds a distinct subspecialty in women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry — a small, specialized field spanning the mental health of women through the hormonal transitions of life, from the menstrual cycle and the perinatal period to perimenopause and menopause. She also offers consultations and second opinions on medication during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility treatment.

Across all of this, she brings comprehensive medical care and precision medicine — evidence-based, root-cause care that protects brain and body over time — informed by her scientific and medical training and her longstanding interest in longevity science.

Perhaps You Know the Feeling

You don't have to have the words for it yet.

Maybe you're just starting out — a new city, a first job or graduate school, a social world that feels harder than it should, or a habit you're quietly worried about. Maybe the baby finally sleeps and you're still awake at 3 a.m., or you're another month into fertility treatment, carrying a grief that has no name. Maybe you're the one everyone leans on — a founder, a partner, a parent — and you haven't truly exhaled in longer than you can remember. Maybe your mind has always moved a little too fast, and you're only now wondering whether there's a name for it. Maybe a marriage is quietly ending, a parent is slipping, or midlife has rearranged your body and moods in ways no one warned you about. Or maybe nothing is wrong, exactly — you're steady and high-functioning, and simply want to feel sharper and at your best.

Whatever brought you here, you don't have to arrive with it neatly explained. Dr. Watts helps you put words to it — together.
