New Clients

Getting started.

Dr. Watts is currently accepting new clients for virtual appointments year-round, with limited in-person availability, by inquiry. The first step is the short screening form below.

Screening Form

Please complete the form below.

This brief form helps us understand how Dr. Watts can help and whether the practice is the right fit for your needs. Once it's received, we'll be in touch with next steps for scheduling.

However you'd like to work with Dr. Watts — clinical care, an organizational engagement, or a retreat — the first step is the same. Once the screening criteria are met, we'll plan a 60-minute meeting with Dr. Watts to get started.
We typically respond within a few business days.

Please note: information submitted through this form does not meet HIPAA standards for confidential communication, and does not establish a doctor–patient relationship. Please be mindful of this when including any sensitive information.

Next Steps

What happens after your screening.

1

Screening & scheduling

Once your screening form is reviewed and the criteria are met, we'll arrange your first 60-minute meeting with Dr. Watts to get started — whether you're inquiring about clinical care, an organizational engagement, or a retreat.

2

How you'll connect

Clinical clients receive their new-client forms, consents, and a secure appointment link through SimplePractice — a HIPAA-secure electronic medical record and client portal; please complete the paperwork before your first visit. For organizations and other individuals, Dr. Watts' front desk will send a Zoom link for your first meeting.

3

Your first appointment

Join at your confirmed time — securely through the SimplePractice portal for clinical visits, or by Zoom for organizational and retreat meetings. When available, in-person visits are arranged by inquiry; details are provided upon scheduling.

Cancellation policy: We understand things happen. Please note there is a 48-hour cancellation policy.

Billing

Different work, billed differently.

The practice spans three kinds of work, each handled through its own billing system. Clinical care is a private, out-of-network medical practice; organizational engagements are contracted directly with each company; and retreat and gathering programs are billed as curated events rather than clinical care.

Clinical Practice

To provide the highest level of personalized, concierge care, Dr. Watts does not accept insurance. We provide all documentation needed to access your out-of-network benefits — being out of network lets us build a treatment plan around what works best for you rather than what an insurer authorizes.

We can provide a medical receipt (superbill) to submit for out-of-network reimbursement; rates are plan-specific. To check your reimbursement, contact your insurer and ask about these codes:

Initial evaluation: CPT 92203 + 90838
Follow-up (45 min): CPT 99213 + 90836

Organizational Engagements

Organizational work takes several forms. Clinical care for an individual leader or employee is handled through the clinical practice above. Advisory and consulting work — guiding the organization on culture, trends, and best practices — sits outside the scope of medical practice and is not billed through insurance; it's typically scoped on a project, retainer, or per-session basis, with fees agreed in advance and invoiced directly to the organization. Many engagements are a hybrid of the two.

Each engagement begins with a scoping conversation and a written agreement or statement of work outlining objectives, deliverables, and terms.

Inquiries begin with the screening form above.

Retreats & Gatherings

Seminars, wellness retreats, and private gatherings are curated programs — not medical care — and are billed as events rather than clinical sessions. Open seminars and retreats are priced per seat or as a flat program fee; private and bespoke gatherings are quoted per engagement, with fees agreed in advance and paid at registration or on booking.

These programs are not billed through insurance and are not eligible for a superbill, as they are not individual medical treatment. Attending a gathering does not establish a doctor–patient relationship.

Appointment Format
